Here at The Green Man we aim to offer restaurant quality food at pub prices, using fresh ingredients and quality suppliers. Our menu offers a wide variety of dishes, some traditional pub fayre such as Steak, Ale and Mushroom Pie or Ham and Eggs, plus some more worldly, like Moroccan Lamb Tagine or Caribbean Coconut Chicken curry. At lunchtime, we serve sandwiches, jacket potatoes and lighter bites, as well as our main menu and blackboard specials. The main menu, which does vary seasonally, offers dishes such as Scampi, Mexican Beef Chilli, Cajun Chicken and Steaks. |

In the evening we expand our blackboard menu to between 8 and 12 dishes. We always have fresh fish available, changing twice a week. We use many varieties, whole Seabass, Tuna, Swordfish, Salmon and Monkfish to name a few! We describe our food as Brit-Med, English cuisine with a touch of Mediterranean thrown in, so fresh herbs, dressings, salad, roasted vegetables applied to English style dishes. For example Toulouse Sausages with Red Pesto Mash, fried onions, roasted peppers and red onions. All this in traditional pub surroundings, unhindered by music or annoying game machine beeps! |
